HEALTHY VEGETABLE CHILA





Materials Required (For 4 people):
1/2 kg of suji
1 packet of buttermilk
1 packet of Eno
2 chopped onions
1/2 chopped capsicum
1 chopped tomato
oil

Procedure:
  • First, empty the packet of suji in a bowl. After this, start adding buttermilk to it and mix it simultaneously till the packet is emptied. The result will be a fine paste.
  • Now, add 1 packet of Eno and mix it well. Keep the batter aside for 5-10 mins.
  • Now, add all the finely chopped vegetables to the batter and mix well.
  • Preheat the pan for approximately 2-3 mins and pour one or two tbs of oil. After the pan is heated, pour 2 ladles of the batter and spread it in a circular motion just the way you make a dosa.
  • Keep checking the chila, flip it upside down when one side turns golden brown. Do the same for the other side.
  • And, voila! your chila is ready :)
Cut it into 4 pieces and serve it on the plate with coriander and mint chutney or your favorite mayonnaise!



HEALTHIER VERSION:

In this healthier version, you can add oats powder instead of suji/rava.
